awwh man her comic Clyde is GORGEOUS and the plot hasn't even started yet. I am in love with his tortoise so I drew him. Well, I kinda switched the focus of the picture to him but how could I not resist? On top of that I love LOVE drawing saddles and saddlebags and harnesses and mount rigging. I don't really know why it intrigues me so, maybe it's the musher in me. It's always a good hint that someone's going on an adventure.
Clyde is an adorable, relate-able character to boot. He was fun to draw.

I would have never expected to see someone draw the tortoises, but wow, I'm so glad you did! I adore how this looks in your style, and I really love the restful feel of the piece. I can't get over the tortoise!! You drew it fantastically, and the balance between simplicity and detail on it is perfect. And Clyde too!! I love his pose and outfit!
