I don't draw her as much as I'd like to, mostly because she's hard for me to get right.
But then I saw this photo from one of my favorite photo bloggers: [link] and I just HAD to base a painting off of it. Mickey seemed to fit the dog really well so I adjusted the markings to hers. Robert Ozda's photos are so inspiring and adorable, I can look through his albums for HOURS. I encourage you all to take a look at his sled dogs.
I also love the story of Chris McCandless, his philosophies were so interesting and sometimes I feel like running away like he did. but you can bet your butt that my first Alaskan Husky's name is going to be after his.
